Also known as #PKThe, Podcast Killed the Video Star is a weekly, 30-minute or so podcast about music videos from the past and present. The show is hosted by Mat Elfring and features a rotating cast of co-hosts including his best friend, Andrew Parks, comedian Matt Drufke, musician Andy Leh, and old bandmate Will Ash.

Each week, the guys watch and breakdown each video discussing narrative and the all-around art of each video. Most of the times, the videos are good, sometimes they’re bad, but everytime, they’re mixed media.

The show switches between watching two different videos and “minimovie” weeks, where they watch a video longer than 7 minutes.
